- Efthymios Maneas completed "Innovation to Market", an elective MBA course at London Business School, to learn how to commercialise research and take a new technology to market (March 2023). After five extended taught sessions, Efthymios was paired with an MBA student in a joint project which was finally presented/pitched for investment in front of a panel of judges (March 2023; London, UK).

- Erwin Alles and Adrien Desjardins co-organise a symposium: Towards Clinical Translation of Optical Ultrasound (21 January 2021). We are grateful to speakers for a terrific set of talks. Their aim is to compile a research collection showcasing ways in which PDMS composites have been created for use in sensing and imaging in biomedical applications, to encourage cross-disciplinary use and future collaborations.
